The truest path is yours (Poem)

At handeck — Alexandre calame

Above the crossroads, under a sunless sky,
The world spins tales, daring us to try.
To the left, the woods whisper of futures bright,
To the right, the river gleams with reflected light.

Every path, a narrative yearning to unfold,
Branches laden with stories never told.
“Look back,” they insist, “find your reflection,”
Yet in every mirror, a different complexion.

There is no score to compose our life’s song,
No biography to which we belong.
In the silence, a voice only we can hear,
Speaks of a path only we can clear.

Stand firm in the unknown, where the wild heart roams,
Forge a path forward, far from safe homes.
For destiny favors the bold who try,
And the stars themselves await your reply.
